Assembly videos very important to help understand written instructions. Need to add additional cabinet lock
pin for kingsize bed. Have slight sagging on right side with
bed cabinet closed.

Easy DIY Murphy Bed hardware is the only Murphy bed hardware OK Custom Furniture uses. They answer any questions you may have in a real timely manner. The king size hardware is just as good as the other bed kits they make. If I could give them a 10 star review I most definitely would, you won’t regret purchasing from them. I’ve lost track on how many Murphy beds we’ve built, but I’ve never had any issues or problems with the kits they sell.

The kit is great! I gave it to my contractor to build and it all went together really well. The hardware works as it should. The instructions were excellent as was customer service when he had a couple of questions. My contractor is a finish carpenter and is highly skilled. I would count on doubling the time specified and materials were three time what was budgeted in the instructions ( I wanted the best materials) but turned out spectacular. Definitely would recommend and would do it again. Very high quantity end product.

This was the only way I could get a king-sized murphy bed, so it was great that this existed. The hardware is good, the design is sound, and the final product is great. This being said, a hardware store is unlikely to cut the boards closer than 1/8″ in precision, and this can cause issues. Even the warp and curvature of the large pieces can cause problems that take some shimming and ingenuity to resolve, or which you may not realize until you try to put the whole thing together. I would not recommend this to people who are new to building things themselves.

All in all a good product. The guides are in need of some refinement and updating as there was some conflicting illustrations that cause some confusion and placement of the parts.

Great instructions on what to buy how to cut and then assemble. Quite easy to follow. Would definitely buy again! I ended up using pressed board which was pretty cheap and then covered in this wallpaper material. Would use plywood next time.

The kit works.great.. I adjusted measiremts to accommodate a thicker mattress by 2 inches. One note. I built and assembled the whole project by myself. When installing the cylinders…. I simply lifted the bed and hooked the folding legs over structure to easily put them in place… Use a couple small.blocks to hold the footer over center… And if you are strong enough… It can be lifted up in one piece. I also installed a fold down table with a folding fitted leg to support. The bed when down… Used 4 small.latches and cut a continuous hinge for the folding parts…. The table is 3/4 plywood and used boxed 1×6 on Cross support/ leg. Depth 7 inches and folding leg makes 29 1/4. For a 39 table height. Works fabulous. Thanks

The hardware is very sturdy. I did have one problem with it, the instructions (measurement) for drilling the hole in the part that makes the bed go up and down was incorrect. I contacted Customer Service and they explained a solution.
